Skull King (FR)

All hands on deck!

Look at you, you landlubbers! Your delicate hands betray you've never climbed a mast, scrubbed a deck, or wielded a cutlass. Well, I hope you learn quickly, because I need every available hand on this perilous voyage.
Skull King is played over 10 rounds.
One card is dealt to each player in the first round, two in the second, and so on up to 10 cards in the tenth round. After looking at your cards, estimate the exact number of tricks you think you can win in this round.

Remember: the higher the value of a card, the better your chances of winning a trick. Once everyone is ready, bang your fists on the table three times while shouting "Yo-ho-ho!" in unison. On the third bang, each player extends a number of fingers equal to their bet, or a closed fist if they bet zero. Use your two betting reminder cards. Place them one on top of the other to indicate your bet.

Once betting is complete, the player to the left of the dealer leads the first trick by playing a card face up in the center of the table. In clockwise order, each other player plays a card. The player who played the highest card wins the trick and collects their winnings in front of them. Then, they play a card to lead the next trick. The game continues until all the tricks in the round have been played. At the end of the tenth round, the final scores are calculated.

The player with the highest score is declared the winner and is crowned Pirate Captain of the Seven Seas!
